Fear and Anxiety: How to overcome Fear

Fear and suspicion are normal reactions to what your mind is imagining. The issue is that your mind is building too many fearful schemes and emotions.
The Spirit we have received does not keep us in bondage again to fear and does not limit us by building false realities in our minds.

The Holy Spirit in us brings us into fellowship with God the Father. The Holy Spirit does not build fear in us because, where the Spirit of God is, there is liberty and freedom.
For you have not received a spirit of slavery that leads you into fear again. Instead, you have received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba! Father!”. -Romans 8:15 (ISV)

Fear is an action that is triggered through our mind, we can overcome fear by;
By putting our trust in God and by believing His Word. We must believe in God and his Word. Whenever we turn our eyes from God, doubt and fear sets in. Trusting in God and believing in His Word fortifies our mind from false realities.
Psalm 56:11, Mark 5:11

By knowing that God is with us. When we have the consciousness of “God is with us and in us”, we live and move with confidence. With this consciousness, faith is built in us to overcome the arrows of fear thrown at us, no matter the situation we go through.
Genesis 26:24, Isaiah 43:5, Psalm 23:4

Knowing that God is your savior and refuge. God is our refuge in times of trouble. He is the safe house we run to when we are faced with issues that looks difficult and impossible. Knowing that we are hidden in God alone gives you comfort and peace. God is our savior in times of need.
Psalm 27:1-3, Psalm 46:1-2, Hebrews 13:6

By obedience, there is no way you can trust and have faith in God if you don’t obey His word.
Psalm 12:10-21
